Jayaprakash Goji Bojan: "The Jungle Man Crossing the River" in Borneo, Indonesia - Grand Prix and First Class in "Wild Nature"
What makes a great picture really "great" is not the photographer's ingenuity in capturing the camera or determining the shutter speed; it is the story behind that picture; the most recent example of this is the winner of the National Geographic Contest of the 2017 photographer among 11,000 exceptional portraits of photographers around the world!
Singaporean photographer Jayaprakash Joghee Bojan has won the title with remarkable merit: an absent man looking in fear while hiding behind a tree with a river full of crocodiles!

To capture this most painful and wonderful picture, Pujan waited patiently for long days in the Borneo River of Indonesia waiting for the jungle person to cross the river, knowing the behavior of these beings. Boyan risked his life by staying at the banks of this river full of predatory crocodiles, but he says he was actually like a spy while waiting for the appearance of a jungle man! The job took him completely so he did not feel cold or mosquito bites ... his mind was quite elsewhere!

As you can see, the story and the story deserve to win the title and the winner of the prize of $ 10 thousand, in addition to winning the status of the first in the category of "wild nature." In addition to the exceptional picture that Bojan gave us, you can not miss the winning pictures in the rest of the competition.
